This finely crafted knife is both a work of art and useful tool. Its double sided handle is made of hand cut Spalted Beech and Mother of Pearl in New Mexico. The beautiful patterns are a result of a natural aging process within the tree.
Damascus Steel is not only beautiful, but also known for its strength and ability to hold an edge. The steel for these knives is created using an age old process of pounding and sandwiching together at least 16 layers of Japanese steel.
